Before moving to Virginia, I was born and raised in the great state of Tennessee. I attended the University of Memphis where I received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems. In my professional life, I am a project manager, having earned the designations of Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM).
I come from a family of pastors and educators. My father, the late Dr. William Jones was a pastor for over 30 years. My mother, Betty Carter was a teacher for just as long. I am also the great-great-granddaughter of William Rush-Plummer, a pastor who admired and befriended Frederick Douglass and named a neighborhood that he owned after him.

My most important jobs, however are being a busy mom of two teenage boys, a devoted wife, and a woman of faith who loves the Lord and wants to share His message with the world! I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior many years ago, and I've been walking, growing and learning of Him ever since! My greatest desire is to do His will and to hear Him say "Well done" at the end of my journey.
My goal in writing this book is to help others see the love that our Heavenly Father has for us, and to help people have intimate fellowship with Him on a different level than ever before.
In my spare time I love bicycle riding with my family, checking out interesting and off-the-wall museums, and being creative with food - always trying fun new recipes!
